Peppimenarti Basket Weaving Ladies.

Using stones to crush the ochre, and preparing the plants to be boiled to obtain coloured dye.

The people of Peppimenarti

This young girl asked Jeanette to take her photo with the digital camera so that she could see how her image turned out.
In the background is the "Childrens Wall" where all the art displayed has been done by Peppimenarti children.
All the art work was quickly sold, including the childrens.
