"YELLOW PERIL"

Curiously, during the same period that the Helicopter and team from GEOTECH Airborne Pty Ltd were based at Mango Farm another survey team from a different company based at the Nauiyu airstrip were also flying out over the same areas as the helicopter. Indeed on one morning we could hear the fixed wing aircraft over the river on the airstrip start the engine at the same time that the helicopter here at Mango Farm also started the engine. As the area of the Mango Farm that the Helicopter was using is located in line with the landing circuit for aircraft going into Nauiyu we did wonder if the “Yellow Peril” aircraft could end up tangled in the “Big Ring” hanging below the helicopter? This aircraft was very fast, much faster than any other aircraft that operates around here.
